T4 on the Beach

I raced down to Weston Super Mare, just south of Bristol to shoot T4 on the Beach. There were loads of artists appearing here today. Like Girls Aloud, Kaiser Chiefs, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Mark Ronson, Calvin Harris, Natasha Bedingfield, The Twang, Plus loads more.. I was shooting and wiring images out, so, it was a busy day.. Plenty to do.. Live shots and a press room as well.. After the event I headed out of Weston Super Mare on off back towards London. The M4 was shut near Swindon, so, I came off and headed north to try and pick up the M40.. But, me being a bit of an idiot, forgot that that part of the world is underwater, in the worst floods the UK has had since records began.. So, what with the M4 being shut and me taking a short cut north, I got home at about 4am.... What a nutter eh!!

Babyshambles Book

I was interviewed today for a new book on Pete Doherty and Babyshambles. In fact, this is to be an official book. So, the interview took place, in Chorleywood at the Hottwire offices. It was a reasonably deep interview. This book will be a kind of quote based book, so I am told. I dont know when it will be published. So, I will just wait and see.

Concert for Diana

Early start and off to Wembley Stadium. I have been inside the new stadium before. But that was with the England soccer team, who were training on that day. Today is a big concert on what would have been Princess Diana's 46th birthday. Sir Elton John opened up the show, then on came a bloody load of artists. In fact so many, I can hardly remember. So, let me think, Lily Allen, Orson, Nelly Furtardo, Take That, Andrew Lloyd Webber and some of his famous cast members. Rod Stewert, Duran Duran, Kanye West, P Diddy (what a silly name) Sean is better.. Plus quite a few others.. Sir Elton closed the show as well. He is brilliant. All in all a long and exhausting day.
