Armed Siege

So, there I was driving along minding my own business driving around nice and picturesque part of Hertfordshire, about 15 miles outside London. When a police car flew past me with lights and sirens. Anyway, I got out of the way and then there was another one, followed by anther two or three police cars.. So, at that point I thought I had better follow them and see what is going on. I finally got to to the place where all of the action was. I quickly parked up and got inside the police ring that was appearing. I quickly saw the armed police at the front of a house.

They were trying to negotiate with a young guy who was inside the house.

The young guy was rather angry and swinging a big knife out of the window.

After hours of negotiations with Police officers and family outside, he eventually came out and gave himself up. I found it all rather sad. To see a young guy (apparently 17) in such a state and angry and now in trouble..

Once he was outside, he was arrested, handcuffed and searched and then places rather gently into one of the police vehicles and taken away.

I then gathered my thoughts and got to my car and cleared off.
